TrustGate MCP is an organization connector for Claude. Add it once; it applies to claude.ai, Desktop, Cowork, and Claude Code. Do not put the MCP URL on the TrustGuard Claude Code plugin (mcpServers / pluginConfigs). Prerequisites: an MCP consumer and the URL from Connect:
Prefer OAuth2 (or Use NeuralTrust). API-key consumers work in Claude Code via the CLI; org Connectors expect OAuth.
  1. As Owner, open Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web.
  2. Name: TrustGate. URL: the Connect endpoint above.
  3. Save. Members: Customize → Connectors → TrustGate → Connect and complete OAuth.
Custom connectors (Anthropic). The connector is called from Anthropic’s cloud. The MCP URL must be reachable from the public internet (or allowlisted Anthropic egress). Hybrid-only MCP needs a public path or TrustGate private/network options. Do not put a TrustGuard collector tgk_… key on this connector.

Claude Code (same connector)

After the org connector is connected, Claude Code loads it like other Claude products. Confirm in /mcp that TrustGate is the org connector, not “Provided by a plugin”. Local / dogfood only (does not replace org Connectors):

  • claude.ai / Desktop: Connectors → TrustGate connected; tools available in chat.
  • Claude Code: /mcp → TrustGate; call a bound tool.
